JP Silva is an senior consultant with Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation at Ryerson University. Previously, he was the Director of Startup Services for the iBoost Zone, an early stage incubator also at Ryerson University. He was also a researcher at the University of Cambridge, where he studied how new technology-based ventures develop new products and services. He holds Licenciatura and MSc. degrees from the Technical University of Lisbon and a PhD. degree from the University of Cambridge.
Dr. Brian Bailey

Dr. Brian Bailey is a Professor in Computer Science at the University of Illinois. He conducts research in the area of human-computer interaction and his current focus is on algorithmic team formation tools and techniques for scaling feedback generation in design innovation courses. He is an ACM Distinguished Member and serves on the editorial boards of ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction and the International Journal of Human Computer Studies.

Pando resembles a team that has diverse members but acts as if they are genetically identical and each one is connected to the rest by a root system and has a single identity. By naming our product Pandos, we envision creating high-performing teams in which team members contribute to its unity.
